Scottsdale, Ariz. Feb. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ – GoDaddy Inc. (NYSE: GDDY), the world’s largest cloud platform dedicated to small, independent ventures, was presented with a gold Stevie® Award in the Back-Office Customer Service Team of the Year category and four bronze Stevie® Awards for Innovation in Customer Service, Customer Service Training Team of the Year, Online Sales Team of the Year and Contact Center of the Year in the eleventh annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.
The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world’s top sales awards, business development awards, contact center awards and customer service awards. The Stevie Awards organizes several of the world’s leading business awards shows including the prestigious American Business AwardsSM and International Business AwardsSM.
This is GoDaddy's sixth consecutive year of recognition by The Stevie Awards for Customer Service. Customer satisfaction is determined using Net Promoter Scores (NPS) which routinely ranks GoDaddy's global customer care among the best in the world.
“I want to extend a massive congratulations to our dynamite customer care teams all over the world for redefining what it means to deliver exceptional customer service 365 days a year,” said GoDaddy Chief People Officer Auguste Goldman. “It’s an honor to be recognized for our care as it highlights the great pride we take in providing personalized, consultative service that helps our customers be successful.”
More than 2,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year’s competition, an increase of 10% over 2016. Finalists were determined by the average scores of 77 professionals worldwide, acting as preliminary judges. Entries were considered in 61 categories for customer service and contact center achievements, including Contact Center of the Year, Award for Innovation in Customer Service, and Consulting Practice of the Year; more than 53 categories for sales and business development achievements, ranging from Senior Sales Executive of the Year to Business Development Achievement of the Year; and categories to recognize new products and services and solution providers.
“We’ve received more nominations in the 2017 Stevie Award for Sales & Customer Service than ever before. By popular demand, the awards categories were expanded and competition was fierce among finalists,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. Business development, customer service, and sales professionals have crucial roles in business success, and the Stevie Award winners this year should be proud of their distinction and innovation among everyone in these fields.”
The awards were presented to honorees during a gala banquet on Friday, February 24 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. More than 550 executives from the U.S.A. and several other nations attended. More than 75 members of several specialized judging committees determined the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging earlier this month.
