GoDaddy Pro Program Expands Capabilities as it Passes 50,000 Members

Additions include Assigning of Products, Performance Monitoring, Client Notes and Support Enhancements

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Sept. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- GoDaddy Inc. (NYSE: GDDY), the world's largest technology provider dedicated to small businesses, today announced the next set of enhancements to the GoDaddy Pro Program, a set of tools and capabilities exclusively for web designers and developers.


Since its launch, the program has been driven by member feedback. Throughout its development, the GoDaddy Pro Program product team listened to member feedback to refine the features that members love and to add additional features to better help web designers and developers build and maintain client websites using GoDaddy products.

Web designers and developers can now do even more if they are members of the GoDaddy Pro Program. Program members can now assign products from their own GoDaddy account to their clients, see associated costs and keep track of miscellaneous details and to-dos using the new notes feature. And, with added Google PageSpeed integration, web designers and developers can easily assess the performance of their client's site and get improvement recommendations.

Starting in the U.S., GoDaddy Pro Program members now are automatically routed to the special Pros-only support line, even if they initially dial the main customer care phone number. Because of this, web designers and developers no longer need to remember a special support phone number they receive with their membership. Seeing initial success with customers, this solution is now being expanded into other markets.

The GoDaddy Pro Program launched in April 2015 with a set of tools and capabilities exclusively for web designers and developers including a client management application, access to advanced technical support and a special set of perks. Some of the initial program features included:

  • Account access – access and manage clients' GoDaddy products without using passwords.
  • Shared shopping carts – purchase domains, hosting, security products for clients using their credit card.
  • Site monitoring – real-time website uptime monitoring with automated alerts.
  • Pros-only support – direct line to a team of highly trained technical agents and priority in the queue.

In less than five months, the GoDaddy Pro Program has grown to over 50,000 members. The adoption of the GoDaddy Pro Program has a broad international impact, with over half of the members located outside of the United States. GoDaddy is seeing significant traction in specific markets, including India and Brazil.
