On April 3rd, 2017, GoDaddy Europe and HEG combined forces in order to better serve small businesses and web experts in the European domain and web services market. The combined company has more than 70 million domains under management and more than 16 million customers worldwide.

GoDaddy powers the world’s largest cloud platform dedicated to small, independent ventures and by joining forces with HEG, GoDaddy has accelerated its existing presence in EMEA. GoDaddy’s mission is to give its customers the tools, insights and the people to transform their ideas and personal initiative into success as the place people come to name their idea, build a professional website, attract customers and manage their work. GoDaddy will also now take over operation of the World Hosting Days and NamesCon brands and conferences, and expects to continue to operate these brands independently and invest in their continued growth.

HEG’s brands 123 Reg, Heart Internet, Domain Factory, Host Europe, Paragon Group, Server4You, and Serverloft will continue to operate independently and customers can contact customer support and access their services in the usual ways.

Andrew Low Ah Kee , Executive Vice President, International

As head of International, Andrew focuses on driving customer growth and market expansion of GoDaddy’s business outside the US. Before joining to GoDaddy in 2014, Andrew served as Director for KKR Capstone where he worked with the Consumer, Technology and Media investment teams to evaluate investment opportunities and accelerate portfolio company growth. He worked closely with GoDaddy since KKR’s investment in 2011. Before KKR, Andrew was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. Andrew holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Toronto.

Patrick Pulvermüller , SVP, Head of GoDaddy EMEA

Patrick Pulvermüller is currently head of GoDaddy EMEA and served as Group CEO of HEG from 2013 to 2017. Patrick joined HEG in 2001 as a sales manager, and was the business’s fourth employee. Since becoming Group CEO in 2013, Patrick has been the driving force behind HEG’s organic and inorganic growth, and played a pivotal role in several HEG acquisitions. Patrick has an MBA from the Open University Business School and is an expert in operational management and strategic financial planning.

Tobias Mohr , VP, CFO EMEA

Tobias joined HEG in April 2008, and since then he has been responsible for the establishment and streamlining of the Group’s financial systems. Tobias is also involved in the improvement of controlling and reporting processes within the Group and has been heavily involved in repositioning HEG’s product offerings across Europe.

Prior to joining HEG, Tobias worked for 5 years for United Internet / 1&1 Internet AG as the Head of Financial Controlling for the Webhosting Division in Germany and internationally. Tobias has also held various financial positions within the private banking and asset management sectors.

Carsten Sjoerup , VP, CTO EMEA

Since 2015, Carsten has served as CTO of HEG, responsible for the technological orientation ofg all mass hosting brands. Casten has over 20 years of experience in the development operation and management of software and solution architectures.

Carsten joined HEG from OnApp, a cloud automation platform for service providers. As part of his previous work, he has led software development and development departments, as well as various organisations and start-ups as technology consultants.

His work has won several awards including Gartner, Saugatuck and Morgan Stanley, as well as the IBM CTO Innovation Award and Cebit / Fraunhofer's Best Cloud Solution.

Kate Cox , VP, CMO EMEA

Kate joined HEG in 2015 as its first CMO and is responsible for marketing operations across all HEG brands, introducing a new customer benefit led approach. Previously, Kate was Managing Partner Strategy at Havas Media where she was heavily focused on finding the best ways of integrating traditional and new communication channels, ideas and opportunities in the most financially effective way.

Kate holds a BA from The University of Cambridge and holds an MBA from The Berlin School of Creative Leadership.

Christian Koch , VP, CPO EMEA

Christian joined HEG in 2016 as Group COO responsible for HR, Corporate IT and Corporate Project Management. Prior to joining, he served as COO at DKV Mobility Services, the market leader for mobility services and fuel cards in Europe. Previously, Christian worked for many years with the world’s largest steel group ArcelorMittal as CEO and various CFO positions in Germany, France and Luxemburg.

Christian has an MBA and a Ph.D. in business administration from the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M. Eur.) from the University of Wuerzburg.

Jochen Berger , VP, M&A EMEA

Jochen joined HEG following the acquisition of intergenia AG in 2014. Since then Jochen has worked as Group Director M&A. Prior to joining HEG, he co-founded intergenia 1999 and served as CTO until 2012, before he switched to M&A role.

Jochen studied media economics at University of Applied Sciences Cologne.
