List for Sale takes the hassle out of selling a domain name with an easy three-step process: 1) GoDaddy domain owners simply click the “List for Sale” button in their domain control center, 2) set a sales price; they can use GoDaddy’s GoValue for an estimated appraisal and enable a “For Sale” landing page to let anyone know their domain is for sale, and 3) the domain is listed on Afternic, a GoDaddy brand and the world's largest domain marketplace.

Since List for Sale launched in beta in January, GoDaddy customers have already found great success with the tool, with the highest domain name sold at $57,500.

Here are two customers who successfully sold domains for the first-time using List for Sale.

Bobby J. Gallo, a GoDaddy customer, first purchased magicschool.com over twenty years ago when he ran a school for magicians. Over the years, as people started to turn to YouTube for magic lessons, Bobby pivoted his business and transitioned to a GoDaddy WordPress blog. The domain sat in Bobby's account untouched for the past five years, that is until the introduction of GoDaddy’s List for Sale tool. Through List for Sale, Bobby successfully sold magicschool.com for $4,500.

Another customer, John Mize, bought newhorizonfitness.com over ten years ago when he got his personal trainer certification. He ended up buying a different domain which he has been using over the years, and when List for Sale was introduced, he realized he could sell his newhorizonfitness.com for a good profit. He recently sold the domain for $500.
