Read on to learn more:
- GoDaddy at NamesCon 2022 Key Takeaways
- NamesCon is the conference that brings the domain community together, and this year was the first time since the pandemic that participated in-person again. The GoDaddy speaker highlights were:
- President of Domain Registrars and Investors Paul Nicks delivered a keynote discussing how GoDaddy intends to integrate our new acquisitions, including DAN.com and DNAcademy, to enhance the domain investor experience, with a goal of offering a seamless all-in-one domain investor solution.
- Michael Cyger, GoDaddy Director of Education and DNAcademy founder, covered “How to Value Domain Names Step-by-Step." He shared: "To become profitable as an investor or broker, you must understand the key characteristics that define a domain name, use them to find relevant, recent, and retail-priced comparable sales, and know how to value domain names in the wholesale and retail markets."
- Joe Styler, Senior Product Manager, participated in a panel where audience members were able to ask, "what's my domain name worth?" It was a fun conversation, intermingled with valuations and advice from a variety of domain professionals on stage.
- No cold feet. Attendees were buzzing about the "lucky” GoDaddy socks given out at the GoDaddy exhibition booth – check out the Twitter conversations on this fun giveaway!

- GoDaddy Auctions Releases New Buying Side for Investor Experience
- GoDaddy Auctions customers can now enjoy a newly released UX for the buying side that includes all aspects of the bidding process, from initial bids to purchase of the auctions won. This is exciting because:
- It is the first section of auctions to use the North Star design language, making it look and feel like other new Aftermarket and domains releases.
- It is easier to use, and it offers new bulk use options, such as bulk, bidding, and bulk Buy Now options.
- It moves customers to a brand-new backend, which allows for improved uptime, growth, scalability, and testing capabilities.
- It sets up GoDaddy to integrate with a new and improved watchlist experience early next year.
