• GoDaddy at WordCamp
  • Each year, WordPress gatherings are held in select host cities around the world, including WordCamps and Meetups, enabling curious tech-savvy individuals the chance to learn and forge connections. GoDaddy was proud to sponsor yet another event, this time WordCamp US 2023, held at the National Harbor in Maryland.

• Domain Portfolio Manager Product Updates
  • The GoDaddy team is dedicated to continually improving the customers’ product experience. In that effort, users will now see the following enhancements to Domain Portfolio:
    • Added alert for canceled domains that are still recoverable
    • Added Real Name Verification (RNV) alert for .com, .cn, .net.cn and .org.cn domains

• Investor App Updates for Android
  • Key updates were released to the GoDaddy Android Investor App to provide a better user experience for the investor community:
    • Added two new types of domain inventory: Offer/Counter-Offer (OCO) and Value Priced Domains (VPD)
    • Improved reliability and bug fixes

     The update is now available to all Android users in Version 4.9.4.

  
  

• GoDaddy AI News in the Media
  • Laka Sriram, Vice President of Product Management at GoDaddy, discussed generative AI in two instances this month.
    • TechRadar interviewed him to talk about how GoDaddy turns to ChatGPT to offer an easier way to generate domain names. Sriram conveyed how the GoDaddy ChatGPT plugin helps users identify great domain names that resonate well with their small business, while checking availability and providing a direct link to purchase them.
    • In the Inc. article, Use A.I. for Barbie-Style Marketing Magic, Sriram expressed his thoughts on how compelling visuals will make marketing messages more impactful, as was the case for the movie Barbie.
  • Eugene Ware, Director of Engineering and Machine Learning at GoDaddy shared 5 Ways Small Businesses Can Boost Efficiency and Gain an Edge with Generative AI with Small Biz Currents. In this article, Ware offered practical ways small business owners can leverage AI to their advantage, including data analysis, content creation and customer experience enhancements.
