Welcome back to GoDaddy Release Notes, a blog that provides entrepreneurs and small business owners with the latest news, product updates and innovations. In February, GoDaddy rolled out updates to GoDaddy Payments and Portfolio Manager; announced the exciting benefit enhancements coming to Discount Domain Club in March 2023; and shared news about the newly launched Domain Academy with DNW Podcast. Read on to learn more: 

• GoDaddy Payments Now Generates Multi-Day Reports with Daily Payouts
  • GoDaddy Payments has updated its multi-day payout reports to better support entrepreneurs when they are reconciling their payouts. Previously, multi-day payout reports shared the total aggregate amount of money paid out over a period of time. The new format reports the daily payout amounts as itemized line items. This helps small business owners to reconcile daily payouts more quickly and easily.

• GoDaddy’s Portfolio Manager Product Updates
  • The GoDaddy team is committed to continually improving customers’ product experience. In that effort, users will now see the following changes in their Portfolio Manager for better ease of use:
    • Domain Listing Services redirected to Afternic for expanded editing capabilities
    • Able to drag and drop “Use My Domain,” “Lock” and “Auto-Renew” columns to customize view
    • Auto select renewal length in Renew Now category
    • Added new alerts on the Domain Settings Beta page:
      • Domain on hold
      • Domain expired, but still recoverable
      • Domain expired with protection plan (90-day coverage)

• GoDaddy’s Discount Domain Club is Better Than Ever
  • The GoDaddy Discount Domain Club (DDC) – a membership-based program – launched almost 15 years ago and helps customers manage and maintain larger domain portfolios at a reasonable price. There are two plans from which a member can choose. The Basic Plan is recommended for portfolios under 50 domains and benefits from discounts on the top 11 top-level domains (TLDs), including .com and .net. The Premium Plan is recommended for portfolios that have over 50 domains and benefits from discounted domains on over 400 TLDs.
    
    Beginning March 1, 2023, the DDC Premium Plan members will see enhanced benefits, with a value of over $700, added to their membership, including:
    • Access to Domain Academy
    • Premium CashParking
    • GoDaddy Auctions membership
    • 75% Domain Broker Service fee discount
      

    The DDC membership is open to anyone as there is no portfolio minimum to join. The plans are valid for one year after the purchase date, or for as long as you renew it.

• A New Domain Academy
  • Mike Cyger, GoDaddy Director of Education (Domains), was interviewed by Andrew Allemann for the DNW Podcast to talk about the newly launched Domain Academy (formerly DNAcademy). Cyger talks about how exciting it was to have publicly launched Domain Academy in December 2022; less than a year after the acquisition by GoDaddy. Now, DDC Premium Plan members are able to access all of the tools and resources that Domain Academy offers to help them become successful domain investors. All at no additional cost.
