GoDaddy Hires New Vice President of Canada to Continue International Growth

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. / TORONTO (January 23, 2015) - As more business owners look to establish their online presence around the world, GoDaddy is growing its Canadian operations, and has appointed Jill Schoolenberg as its Vice President of Canada. Schoolenberg will lead GoDaddy’s expansion across Canada.

“Joining GoDaddy means being able to help small businesses - the largest business segment in Canada - grow their businesses, attract new customers, and sell their products and services online in a cost effective way,” said Schoolenberg. “With GoDaddy’s commitment to provide solutions for small business, together with bilingual customer support, I am excited to help small business owners in Canada be successful.”

Schoolenberg has a technology background with over 15 years of experience working with leading technology and small business organizations in Canada. She started her career in marketing with Procter & Gamble, and later transitioned into technology when she joined Microsoft’s MSN Canada. She went onto lead several sales and marketing organizations in Microsoft, with a focus on small and mid-sized businesses. Most recently, Schoolenberg worked at Mentor Works, where she helped hundreds of small businesses understand and apply for Canadian Government grants and loans.

Schoolenberg graduated with an Honors Business Degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business Administration at Western University in London Ontario. Schoolenberg will be based in Toronto.

“Canada is a key market for GoDaddy and will continue to be as we extend our offerings globally,” said GoDaddy Executive Vice President International James Carroll. “Today, GoDaddy is helping businesses be successful online in 42 markets and 17 languages around the world.”
