Brian Sharples Joins GoDaddy Board of Directors

CEO of HomeAway Brings Business and Technology Expertise

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- GoDaddy Inc. (NYSE: GDDY), the world's largest technology provider dedicated to small businesses, has appointed Brian Sharples to its board of directors. Mr. Sharples, the co-founder and CEO of HomeAway, brings vast technology brand and entrepreneurial leadership.

Prior to HomeAway, Mr. Sharples was CEO of IntelliQuest Information Group, where he pioneered the development of subscription-based statistical research services and electronic survey systems. He also completed two successful public offerings and the subsequent sale of IntelliQuest to WPP Group.

An expert in technology brand strategy, Mr. Sharples has counseled several major brands, including Apple, Microsoft and Dell. He currently serves on the board of directors for RetailMeNot, Fexy Media, and Twyla. He is an investment advisor to venture capital firm, Institutional Venture Partners, and private equity firm, Tritium Partners. Mr. Sharples is also a passionate entrepreneur and is currently involved with several startups.
