In September, GoDaddy enhanced the domain investor experience with updates to Afternic, Dan.com and Domain Portfolio, and sponsored and participated in several WordCamps around the world. Additionally, GoDaddy Registry released the .gay Impact Report. Read on to discover more: 

• Afternic Celebrates 10^th Anniversary with GoDaddy
  • It has been 10 years since Afternic was acquired by GoDaddy, and since then, domain investors have been able to expand their reach, leading to a more dynamic aftermarket.
    
    From launching the Lead Center to introducing Lease to Own domain deals, Afternic continues to innovate, consistently adapting to the ever-evolving landscape and staying committed to providing valuable solutions for the investor community.

• Dan.com Product Updates
  • Dedicated to enhancing its platform for domain name sellers, Dan.com introduced the latest updates:
    • GoValue pricing tool providing sellers a new Buy It Now (BIN) Pricing button on the ‘For Sale’ view where they can create BIN prices for domains that didn’t have them
    • ‘Category’ is now an option in the side bar to easily categorize domain listings
    • Brandable templates now have a ‘Hide’ option if they have created a logo for their domain name

• Domain Portfolio Product Updates
  • GoDaddy’s Domain Portfolio implemented a few updates focused on enhancing the user experience:
    • New pending WHOIS verification alert on Domain Settings page
    • Access to Auctions, Parking and Afternic accounts directly from Domain Portfolio using left hand navigation bar
    • Delegates will now see a message letting them know they have insufficient permissions to view certain information
    • Portfolio Beta has now become the standard option for all customers

• GoDaddy at WordCamps Worldwide
  • WordCamps are informal events organized by the WordPress community. GoDaddy was thrilled to sponsor five WordCamps this month: Nepal, Malaysia, Finland, Vancouver and Rochester.
    
    Not only did our teams actively participate in these vibrant gatherings, but our booths served as conversation hubs where we connected with many customers and enthusiastic community members. Moreover, Alycia Mitchell, Director of Content and Education at GoDaddy, had the opportunity to speak at WordCamp Vancouver on Generative AI in Content Marketing: Risks, Opportunities and Endless Creativity.
    
    GoDaddy's active involvement in these events allow us to engage with the WordPress community, share insights and foster valuable connections with attendees.

• GoDaddy Registry Unveils Third Annual .gay Impact Report
  • In June 2023, the .gay top-level domain was added to the GoDaddy Registry portfolio. This month, GoDaddy released the third annual .gay Impact Report, spotlighting the domain's community-driven initiatives and pioneering strides in creating a more inclusive digital space, throughout 2022.
